Carl Garrett Nolan, 71, of Bledsoe, Ky passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born November 28, 1948 in Harlan, KY. Carl was a retired mechanic having worked for Nally & Hamilton, he was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and believed in the Baptist Faith. Carl also enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing and working on about anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Virginia Nolan; his wife, Margaret Wyatt Nolan and his sister, Francis Nolan Caldwell.
Survivors include two sisters, Tevis Nolan Turner and Brenda Nolan Fee; his nieces and nephews, Gwen and David Hensley, Angie Lowe, Joseph Hoskins, Tiffany and Darryl Stewart and Jacob and Katie Turner. Great nieces and nephews, Gunnar and Gage Stewart, Andrew and Emma Hensley and Sarah Ashley Sellers. And several other relatives and friends also survive.
All services will be private due the government mandate on gatherings at this time. One way to express encouragement to the family is to send an online condolence thru our website.
Burial will take palce at Nolan Cemetery at Bledsoe, KY.
