Brooks Allen Goldey, 13 months, of Baxter, Kentucky, received his Heavenly healing on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He was born on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in Corbin, Kentucky to Jillian and Jared Goldey.
He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Ronald Callahan, Bonnie Callahan, Gene Enix and Ed Bledsoe; and his great aunt, Jewelie Redding.
Survivors include his loving parents, and big sister, Ellie Mae, grandparents, Mike and Cheri Goldey and Eugene and Tracy Enix. His great-grandparents, Cecil and Virginia Hensley, Floralena Enix Bledsoe, and Debbie Callahan. His aunts and uncles, Cate (Ben) Mitchell, Erin (Alex) Free, Devin (Seth) Jeffrey, Caleb (Emily) Goldey, Micah Goldey, Shelby (Katie Redeker) Goldey, Kassie (Cory) Privett; and cousins, Charlotte and Emma Mitchell, Lilly and Lexi Goldey, Ashton Mobley, and Elijah and Nolan Privett.
The family will receive friends, on Monday, April 28th from 5-7Pm at Harlan Christian Church. His celebration of life service will be Tuesday, April 29th at 1 o’clock at the Church with Reverend David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Caleb Goldey, Micah Goldey, Alex Free, Ben Mitchell, Seth Jeffrey and Shelby Goldey serving as pallbearers.
