Brenda Murphy

Brenda Louise Murphy, 73 of Molus, KY passed away September 1, 2020 at her home. She is the daughter of the late, James and Loretta Saylor Sample. Brenda was born on April 25, 1947 at Molus, KY and was a lifelong believer in the Holiness faith and a member of the Cawood Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Grant and Nettie Saylor.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Reed Murphy, JR; her children, Randy and wife, Karen Lindsey of Wallins, Rachel and husband, Victor Howard of Molus and Lisa and husband, Mike Newsome of Molus. Five grandchildren, Dustin Murphy, Miranda and husband, Beau Stevens, Dylan and wife, Summer Saylor, Shane and wife, Raygon Lindsey and Sarah Lindsey. Her sister in law, Linda Hatfield and her brother in law, John Murphy. Also, her special friends, Betty and Junior Potter and Virgil and Ada Sergant along with a host of nieces, nephews, church family relatives and friends.

All are welcome to attend the graveside services on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 5 o’clock at Murphy Court Cemetery 105 Murphy Ct. Coldiron, KY 40819 with Rev. Kenny Clem and Rev. Tony Michael Ealy officiating.  Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
