Brenda Bell Visconti Henson, 82 of Harlan, Kentucky entered her Heavenly Home on July 3, 2025.
Her children were by her side, along with her grandchildren, at her home in Catrons Valley when she passed. Brenda was born to the late Angelo and Mildred Visconti on May 21, 1943, at Liggett, Kentucky. Brenda loved to tell stories about her precious childhood memories in Tally Holler.
A lifetime resident of Harlan Kentucky, Brenda served her community with her passion for the local school systems. She was a business teacher at James A. Cawood High School for 30 years and was on the Harlan County School Board for 19 years. Brenda’s students brought her great joy and pride. She also found great joy and pride in her involvement in her church. Brenda spent many years serving as a Sunday School teacher and spent many summers as a Bible School teacher. Brenda’s life purpose was to educate both in the school classroom and in the church’s classrooms.
