Obituary
Bill Moore, 73, of Baxter, KY passed away Friday, Sept. 2nd, 2022, at UK Medical Center following a long illness. He was born and raised in Baxter but had called many places home over the years. He was a former business owner, long-haul trucker, and was an employee for Smok’n Joe’s. He loved to crack jokes and cook amazing meals for the people he loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin, and Frankie Moore.
Those left to mourn his passing include his love of 13 years, Robin Thomas, 2 children: Joseph Moore and Cathy Moore, Stepchildren: Samantha Johnson, Derek Matlock, and Daniel Thomas, and many loving grandchildren. As well as Aunt Patsy McKenzie Johnson and friend George “Blue” Landrum.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at 11AM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Saylor officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 6th from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
