Bentley Griffith, 57, of Cawood, KY entered rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born August 12, 1967, in Hyden, KY. Bentley was retired mechanic, he loved to hunt ginseng, play cards and board games and believed in the Christian faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Griffith and Betty Collett Slusher; his step-father, Otis Slusher; his brothers, Willard and Shelby Griffith and Anthony Slusher; his sisters, Dora Ruth Griffith and Regina Slusher; his mother-in-law, Della Haynes; his sister-in-law, Billie Lewallen and his niece, Gracie Marie.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tracey Griffith of Cawood, KY; his children, Sierra Crane and boyfriend Brandon Trammell of Lenarue, KY and Bentley David Griffith of Evarts, KY. His grandchildren, Jacey, Heydn, Brandon, Iris and Olivia; his brothers, Albert Slusher of IL and Virgil Saylor of TN; his sister, Michelle Stevens and husband Robert of VA. His sister-in-law, Janice Daniels of Harlan, KY; his special friends, Jamie Haynes, John Belcher and Duke Davis; his extra special friend, JoAnn Green; His fur- babies, Hunny Marie and Mojo and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 4PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Clem officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3PM Friday until service time.
