Barbara (Pennington) Napier

Barbara Ellen Napier, 58, of Coxton, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 28, 1964, in Harlan, KY. Barbara was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She also was a member of the Coxton Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Sarah Pennington; her husband, Bruce Edward Napier; her brother, Chris Pennington; her sister Martha Sue Coots.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Christopher Pennington & wife Lindsey of Harlan. Her grandson, Kaden Pennington; her brothers, Bradley Pennington of Coxton and Timmy Pennington and wife Lavonda of Coxton. Her sisters, Marie Dabney and husband Mike of Cranks, Etta Brewer and husband James of Fresh Meadows. Also, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 1-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Kinney officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11-AM until the funeral hour.
