Bill W. Johnson, 75 of Teetersville, was born on November 1, 1944 in Harlan County and entered Heaven on April 21, 2020. He retired from Terry Glen Coal Company as an electrician and believed in the Church of God Faith. Bill was an avid KY Wildcat Fan and was an assistant football, basketball and softball coach for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Flora Lawson Johnson and his sister, Jan Rose Fowler.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet Johnson, his sons, Brandon and wife Jackie Johnson and Brett and wife, Tabatha Johnson. His brother, Wallace Don Johnson and his grandsons, Brett Wes Johnson II, Brandon Johnson II and Blake Johnson; his granddaughters, Kennedy and husband Jacob Hensley and McKayla Jewell. Also, a host of family and friends.
All services will be private due the government mandate on gatherings at this time. One way to express encouragement to the family is to send an online condolence thru our website.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
