Goldie Helton, 86 of Coxton was born on June 30, 1930 in Cawood, KY and passed thru Heavens Gates on October 21, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal Faith.

Her parents precede her in death, Will Johnson and Laura Short Johnson, her husband, Glen Helton her children, Linda Clem, Sonya Owens, Glen Herman Helton, Michael Helton and Kay Thomas; her sisters, Georgia Bumgardner and Nola Roundtree, her brother, Endel Johnson and her grandson, Curtis Helton.

She is survived by her daughters, Melvina and husband, Randy Bowman of Coxton and Gail and Bill Johnson of Keokee, VA; her sister, Hazel Greene of Bobs Creek, KY. Along with 38, grandchildren and several great-grandchildren & great great-grandchildren also survive. 

Funeral services will be Monday at 7 PM in the Chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Kinney officiating.   

Visitation will be Monday at Henson & Rich Funeral Home from 5 PM until the funeral hour.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers

Arrangements are under the direction of Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
