Jacqueline Turner Hopper, 90 of Harlan, was born June 2, 1925, and went home to be with her Lord on February 7, 2016 to meet her family that had preceded her in death, which she missed greatly.

Jacqueline was formerly employed by Aeronca Aerospace, in Middletown Ohio for 35 years, and was involved in the building of Apollo Space Modules, in which she was very proud.

She was also formally a member of The Immanuel Baptist Church and The Teetersville Baptist Church, as she believed in the Baptist Faith. Jacqueline, enjoyed church and always looked forward to attending as it was a huge part of her life and brought her much joy. She was also a member of the Glory Singers for several years. Jacqueline’s desire to serve others, she was seen for many years at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital as part of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by: Husband; Earl D Smith; her Father and Mother, Bill and Jay Turner; her brothers; Harry B. Turner and wife, Georgine; Charles Turner and wife, Sylvania; Graham Tuner and wife, Mae; J.M. Turner and wife, Mary Ruth. She was also preceded by sisters, Berlie Wallace and husband, Johnny; Geneva Huston and husband, Alvin, and three brothers-in-law, Bill McGuire, Jack Fletcher and Daniel Hicks JR.

She is survived by: daughter, Vickie Skidmore and husband, Fred; her sisters, Rose Mary McGuire, Patricia Fletcher, Bernice Hicks. One grand daughter, Jacqueline Suzanna Skidmore and two great-grandchildren, Cryta Styron and Gabriel Holden. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Henson and Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Martin Officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 9, 2016 from 5:00pm until the funeral hour.

Entombment services will be Thursday 11, 2016 at 1:00pm at Butler County Memorial Center in Hamilton Ohio.

Henson and Rich Funeral Home has the honor of serving the Hoper Family.
